Monitoring concerns health facilities, never patients.

HealthCheck applies strengthened confidentiality rules for health. Here is how we protect patients, reporters and professionals.

  • No individual health data

No diagnoses, no patient names, no medical records. Patient surveys are anonymous and published only once there are at least 5 responses.

  • Reporters protected

Reporters’ names and phone numbers are never published; only their profile is shown. The public profile (photo, summary) is displayed only if the person authorises it.

  • Photos with no identifiable person

Photos must show neither patients nor documents bearing a name. CERC blurs or rejects them before publication.

  • Health professionals

Internal reports are known only to CERC and are published only in aggregated form, by health zone.

  • Serious cases

The detention of a patient over debt immediately alerts CERC and is published only after verification.

  • Open data, without personal data

Data exports for the Ministry and partners contain neither names nor phone numbers.
