Global Fund: HIV, tuberculosis and malaria 2024-2026

Allocation of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria to the DRC for 2024-2026: USD 700.7 million for HIV, tuberculosis, malaria and health systems strengthening. The amount was announced in 2023; the Global Fund later reduced the allocations of this cycle by about 11% worldwide, so the final amount for the DRC may be lower.

How HealthCheck follows the money

  1. Donors declare what they funded, to whom they entrusted it and for what purpose.
  2. International and local organisations declare what they received, passed on and delivered.
  3. Health facilities declare what actually reached them and how they used it.
  4. The community and CERC compare the declarations, publish contracts and budgets, and check on the ground that every dollar reaches the patients.

Health facilities declare what they received, from whom, and how they used it.

Donors, agencies and NGOs declare what they funded and for which facility, with the contract and the budget.

HealthCheck compares both sides: every gap becomes visible.
